There are three main types of piles

1. Hydraulically Driven Piles (our patented technique)
A powerful hydraulic system is used to drive the piles into the ground until they reach bedrock. The piles are then securely bolted in place. This technique causes no vibration and ensures long-lasting stability.
2. Helical Piles or Screw Pile Foundations
These piles are screwed into the ground until they reach the required soil density and load-bearing capacity. Advanced technology is used to measure the depth and performance of each pile during installation.
3. Concrete Piles
Concrete piles are foundation elements that extend underground and anchor above-ground structures. They are most commonly used in the construction of decks, patios, and garden structures.
Important Notice
While helical (screw) piles are ideal for light structures such as wooden balconies, sheds, patios, and spas, they should never be used for heavier structures like houses or concrete balconies.
Driven piles, which are anchored into bedrock, have a load capacity of up to 50,000 lbs, compared to just 6,500 lbs for helical piles. That capacity can decrease over time due to soil movement, erosion, or drought conditions.
Building a home on helical piles may lead to serious issues and costly repairs when the foundation fails. In the long run, choosing hydraulically driven piles from the start is the smarter and more economical solution.
Commercial and Industrial Piling
Installing Pretech® piles beneath your commercial or industrial foundation is the best way to ensure your structure remains immobile—exceeding stability requirements while minimizing cracks and uneven settling.
Build on Solid Ground from the Start!
We can construct either a Berlin wall made of tubular piles driven into the ground, with boards held in place by supports, or a Berlin-type wall consisting of H-beams and overlapping wooden panels placed between the piles. Berlin-type retaining walls provide support and stability for the soil around your property during construction work.
Our interior piling solution ensures the stabilization of your new industrial equipment (printing, CNC, etc.).
A required door height of 10 x 10 feet and a minimum clearance of 13 feet for machine access, with an interior height of 20 feet for pile installation. Vibration levels are kept at 2 to 3 mm/second (zero).
